CNC lathe parts processing

The processing of CNC lathe machine parts is part of mechanical processing, and there are two main processing forms: one is to fix the turning tool and process the unformed workpiece during rotation; Another method is to correct the workpiece and perform precision machining through high-speed rotation of the workpiece and horizontal and vertical movement of the turning tool (cup holder).

On the lathe, drills, reamers, taps, dies and spotting tools can also be used for corresponding processing. The lathe is mainly used for machining shafts, discs, sleeves and other workpieces with rotating surfaces. It is the most widely used type of machine tool processing in mechanical manufacturing and repair factories.

1. Easy to ensure the precision of each workpiece machining surface; During processing, the workpiece rotates around a fixed axis, and each surface has the same axis of rotation, which makes it easy to ensure the coaxiality requirements between the processing surfaces;

2. The cutting process is relatively stable; Except for intermittent surfaces, the machining process of a lathe is generally continuous, unlike grinding and planing. In a cutting process, the cutter teeth enter and exit several times, resulting in impacts;

3. Suitable for precision machining of non-ferrous metal parts; Some non-ferrous metal parts, due to their low hardness and good plasticity, are difficult to obtain a smooth surface using other processing methods;

4. Simple cutting tools; Turning tool is the simplest type of tool, which is easy to manufacture, grind and install, making it easy to choose a reasonable angle according to specific processing requirements
